The Federation of Tibetan Cooperatives in India (FTCI) was registered in multi-state cooperative societies act 2002 under the ministry of corporation, Central Government of India. FTCI organization was established on 20th of April 2005, headquarter in Bangalore. We have 15 Tibetan Cooperatives in 7states in india as member Cooperatives. Among them there are 9 Board of Directors democratically elected by member cooperatives under the guidance and supervision of Central Election Authority CEA, New Delhi. FTCI support and strengthen Tibetan cooperative societies through training, workshop and with financial support. It works to promote economic self-reliance, sustainable livelihoods, and community development among Tibetan settlements.

FTCI coordinates, guides, and supports various business units such as Hotel Tibet Dharamsala, Nyamdel House and Export Unit in Delhi, Hotel Tibet Gangtok and Hotel Tibet and Resort at Bylakuppe in South Karnataka.

And provides assistance in management, training, finance, auditing, marketing, and policy coordination.

Through its activities, FTCI plays a vital role in preserving Tibetan identity while improving the economic and social well-being of the Tibetan community in exile.
